Good Chinese Name is designed to help English speakers explore Chinese names without requiring an account or collecting unnecessary personal information.
Information you enter
The name tool may ask for an English name, gender direction, name length preference, star sign and naming style. This information is used to generate Chinese-name suggestions in the current browser session. We do not require a real legal name, date of birth, account login or government identity information.
Temporary result pages
Personalized result pages are temporary browser-session pages. The selected result can be kept alive in the same browser tab so you can return from a character page, download a PDF or compare alternatives. The result is not intended to be stored on our server, placed in the page URL or published as a permanent profile.
Local storage and session storage
The site may use browser session storage or history state to keep the current result available during the same tab session. This is used for convenience only. You can clear it by closing the tab, clearing browser data or starting a new result.
Server logs and security
Like most websites, hosting providers may process basic technical logs such as request time, URL, browser type, IP address and error information. These logs are used for security, abuse prevention, debugging and reliability, not to create a personal naming profile.
Analytics and advertising
